“Praise The Lord, all my soul and all that is within me praise the power and holiness of His name.” PS.103

So, my 40 day devotional is talking about thankfulness, which in today’s world we, even unknowingly, are either too busy or are influenced to be discontent to want different and more which makes us blind┬áto what we have. What is at least one thing you can be thankful for today that you sometimes overlook? Mine is dedicated to all those that have helped me move and temporarily housed me while I struggled to hold down a place and a job (while depressed at times) over the last 4 years. I haven’t forgotten any of you.

And sleep.

“Nature┬áis full of genius, full of the┬ádivinity; so that not a snowflake escapes its fashioning hand.” Henry David Thoreau

Lastly, dork or not, mine is (as Thoreau put it), the divinity of nature: the detail in size, shape, amount, texture, colour, shade, tint, etc of different grasses, leaves, trees, clouds, flowers, etc. When these things stay near in my mind, my heart stays thankful and I have joy.
